This video’s a calmer one — just me spending time with Bryson and Rylo and showing a softer side of what life with them looks like. It’s nice to see them relaxed and playful like this, but to be real, this isn’t the full picture.
With dogs like these, too much affection can easily turn into chaos. They’re powerful, driven dogs that need structure before softness — discipline first, affection after. You’ll see me giving them a lot of attention here, and that’s fine sometimes, but it only works when they respect me and know their place.
I wanted to share this to show the bond we have, but I just want to make it clear — guardian breeds need strong leadership and clear boundaries. If you skip that part, things can go wrong fast. But if you fulfil their needs, get their foundations right, and build that respect, the relationship you get back is unreal. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
