Second Reading: Romans 1:1-7 - Paul's introduction to the Romans, highlighting Jesus' lineage and divine nature.
Gospel: Matthew 1:18-24 - The story of Joseph's decision to accept Mary as his wife, with the angel's message about Jesus' birth.
