1955 Studebaker Speedster Survivor project.
The car is not a show room Trailer Queen so if you see something that is not perfect like it came from the factory do not worry, I know and I do not care.
Has been repainted years ago over some bondo repairs, but had very little rust. Has been reupholstered but not in diamond tufted leather.
The dash and steering column and steering wheel are not the correct color. The 160 mph speedo was shot so I put in a 120 that I had on hand.
Have rebuilt the original driveline suspension, steering and brakes. Rebuilt the power brake booster.
Have kept the 6 volt system as built, rebuilding the starter, generator. regulator, wiper motor, heater motor, defroster motor.
Had to re wrap a lot of the harness due to the original cloth insulation rotted away.
Restored the radiator, heater core, defroster core.
Rebuilt power steering pump and motor.

I did a complete rebuild of the engine and transmission. It runs nicely now and it should last for many years if cared for and driven responsibly.
