In this video, I will show you hot to create a Studio Spline by poles and through points to create a Class-A surface. You will also learn about the reuirements and which kind of surfaces to start with.
For this example, an Audi R8 blueprint was used, which can be easily found via Google Image Search.
We are going to provide a new tutorial series, concerning freeform modeling. We will focus on the secrets of freeform surfaces like curve mathematics, tolerances etc. The tutorials will cover the design of the Apple Magic Mouse. A huge amount of NX functions like X-Form, Splines, law extensions will be explained. Thereby the required and very important analysis tools are going to be explained in detail as well as the mathematics behind, to help you creating Class-A, or nearly Class-A surfaces.
