NuTone 'Hug-The-Ceiling' Ceiling Fan

NuTone 'Hug-The-Ceiling' 42" ceiling fan in antique brass. This is another fan that I found in the trash during Cleanup Week 2025. Not gonna lie, I was kind of happy to find another of these in really fantastic condition. This specific size and finish is a childhood fan for me from a couple of different installs. A pizzeria we frequented in my formative years had four of them somewhat strangely installed off to the side all in a row, and there was also one in the dish room at my church. I got the one from my church when they did some remodeling, which was the exact childhood fan, but got rid of it because it was just in rough condition. Having the exact fan loses its luster for me when poor condition makes me never want to use or install it anywhere. If it's not something extremely old/uncommon or that I otherwise feel very connected to, I'd rather just find a really prime example instead. This one fits the bill, was just very dusty and cleaned up almost like new. Runs great. Needed to replace some missing screws, nothing major. Had a Craftmade turtle fitter installed, but I removed it because the childhood installs above had no lights, so that's the way I particularly prefer them. Also apologies for the high speed closeup being so shaky. Normally I can spiff that up in post when it's bad, but that clip just will not cooperate and trying to fix it made it worse. Per usual this was filmed many weeks beforehand, so couldn't go back and do it again.
