PipeMAB magnetic drills dramatically reduce the time and effort required to drill, tap, ream and countersink in pipe. Equipped with patented swivel magnetic clamping systems, PipeMAB models can drill on pipe 3” OD and larger, inner pipe wall (ID,) as well as flat and curved surfaces. The permanent magnets’ strong clamping force allows for great flexibility with adhesion on ferrous materials as thin as 9/64,” and increased accuracy with swing-away magnetic clamping allowing for easy hole alignment and clearing of debris. With a highly stable permanent magnet system, the PipeMAB’s magnets remain active independent of electricity, increasing safety and reducing the chance of drop hazards.
