Tom Fletcher, during his visit to the Al Daba camp in Darfur's Tawila town, described Al-Fashir as a “crime scene” and condemned the mass atrocities taking place. Fletcher highlighted the widespread nature of the violence, including mass executions, torture, and sexual violence on a horrific scale. He also pointed out that people attempting to flee the violence are being attacked on the roads.
