Squat is great exercise for strength and shall be part of any serious motocross athletes program.
Strength training shall be the foundation in all physical demanding sports, also Motocross. And there is wrong trend in the motocross community where most trainer and coaches only focus on endurance training. I see so many riders struggling with riding where in my point of view its simple because they are to weak.
I motocross you are sitting on 100 kg bull with 40-60 horsepower and to handle that you need to be strong, not strong as power lifter, but you need to have some strength and strength shall be measured compared to you body weight.
