This Saturday, I spent the day with a friend at Ridge Live Steamers - Linked: ridgelivesteamers.org - experiencing their very intricate 1/8 scale layout and ridable trains. Afterward, I caught word of a CSX train headed down my way, with some interesting locomotives in the consist. I was in Lakeland before I knew it, while reminiscing about some past years.
