Spotting my favourite trains and transit in New York City, United States.
1. IRT Flushing Line – The New York City Subway 7 Train runs from 34th St–Hudson Yards to Flushing–Main Street via Times Square, Grand Central, Queensboro Plaza, 46th St–Bliss Street, and 74th St–Broadway.
2. Metro-North Railroad – Travelling from Harlem–125th Street to Grand Central Terminal via the Park Avenue Main Line.
3. Second Avenue Subway – Riding the Q Train from 72nd Street to 96th Street.
4. Williamsburg Bridge – Crossing the East River from Brooklyn to Manhattan on the J Train (BMT Jamaica Line).
5. Staten Island Ferry – Sailing from the Staten Island Ferry Whitehall Terminal in Manhattan to St. George Terminal, passing the Statue of Liberty.
6. 42nd Street Shuttle – A 732-meter ride from Times Square to Grand Central.
7. BMT Astoria Line – Riding from Queensboro Plaza to Astoria–Ditmars Boulevard on the W Train.
8. AirTrain JFK – Travelling from Queens Plaza to New York JFK Airport Terminal 8 via Jamaica (taking the E Train and transferring to the AirTrain).
