The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan discusses Labor’s major overhaul of the Defence Department, reigning in multibillion-dollar cost blowouts.
It is the biggest shakeup of the Defence Department in almost 50 years, while Labor argues the change will deliver more bang for buck for taxpayers.
“This was an embarrassing performance by the Albanese government,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“Richard Marles is becoming a figure beyond parody.”
