“It was 100% the wave of my life,” Laurie Towner says about his best ride ever (so far), which happened at Cloudbreak. “When I got that barrel, I hadn’t ridden a wave like that in years or been in ocean like that for a long time. The funny thing is, after I got that barrel, I did a turn, and a school of flying fish came up under my board and just took off into the channel. I stood on that wave for as long as I could and rode it down the point, just tripping and having a little personal moment.”
