Our First Time Trying a Carinderia in The Philippines! | Local Eats in Siargao 🇵🇭

Welcome back to another vlog in the Philippines. In today's video, we are taking you from Butuan up to Siargao to give our first impressions of Siargao and try a Carinderia for the first time in the Philippines.

We started out our journey in Butuan after spending some chill days there and eating a few meals, we headed over to Siargao. After a long day of traveling, we didn't decide to do much but eat at an Italian restaurant.

After a good night's sleep, we got some breakfast at a local sandwich place and headed to one of the most famous places in Siargao; Cloud 9. We checked out the surfing hotspot and summoned Poesidens trident as we braved the heat. We then decided to cool down a bit with a smoothie bowl and headed back to the hotel for a bit.

Next, we explored the city a bit and the local beach as we captured some epic views of the sunset before it was time to fill our bellies. We did this with a new experience as we decided to hit up a Carinderia for the first time. This is a Filipino eatery in which you choose food, buffet style, and get to pay after you eat. With local options such as chicken skewers and international such as pesto, there was definitely lots to choose from.
