After winning Best Director for 2017 comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi, filmmaker and writer Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is back to work her magic in the upcoming film 'Panga' that stars Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chaddha and Neena Gupta. Ashwiny made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed 'Nil Battey Sannata', and went on to direct its Tamil remake Amma Kanakku.

Kangana Ranaut's 'Panga' is a sports drama that depicts the life of a middle-class Indian mother who is a forgotten Kabaddi world champion. This is the first time for Kangana Ranaut to be playing a mother on screen. The film is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, and also stars actors Richa Chaddha, Neena Gupta and Jassie Gill. Panga hits theatres on January 24, 2020.
