Thameslink Class 319 Rides: Brighton to East Croydon (Fast via Quarry Line) - 15th & 17th July 2017

Video: Heading up the Brighton Main Line back to London on a Thameslink Class 319 from Brighton to East Croydon via the Quarry Line (which is the fast line that avoids Redhill, Merstham & Coulsdon South). As its a few days away from the final run of the 319 on Thameslink, I thought I'd upload this journey as it sadly might be the only decent Brighton train ride I get to do on one.
Now as much as I wanted this to be a smooth and epic 319 thrash back up to London, unfortunately between Haywards Heath and Gatwick Airport an incident happened which made me have to stop recording. But thankfully, because I had a few other journeys recorded on that same day and on that weekend I was able to fill in the void by mashing up 3 rides together.

The following was filmed on units 319217 'Brighton' (which will be among the very last 319 pair), 319432 & 319449 (which sadly already gone into storage).
