Welcome back!!! I’m GURUSHIYA and today in this video we are gonna discuss about Ordering Cost. Ordering cost is nothing but the cost associated with actually ordering the inventory. Order the inventory in sense, for example let's take that there is a boutique and that orders all those fabrics, threads for their boutique regularly and ordering cost is the cost associated with ordering the fabric, thread etc. I hope that’s clear. And let me name some of the ordering cost, so that you will be thorough in that. Some of the ordering costs are “Expenses for purchase order, labour cost for inspection of goods received, labour cost for placing the goods received in stock, labour cost for issuing the suppliers invoice and labour cost for issuing suppliers payment” etc. Ordering Cost is inversely related to the Carrying Cost when ordering cost increases the carrying cost decreases and when the Carrying Cost increases the Ordering Cost decreases.
