Exploring Pachpokhari in Sankhuwasabha: A Journey Through Majestic Landscapes

Pachpokhari, nestled within the Makalu Rural Municipality of Sankhuwasabha district, is a hidden gem that offers breathtaking natural beauty and serene landscapes. Known for its tranquil ponds and lush surroundings. It offers several ways to reach there but we chose the following ways.

Day 1: Gadi Bazar to Baide

Our journey begins in Gadi Bazar, a quaint town in Makalu Gaupalika 03. This bustling bazar, with its vibrant local culture and scenic charm, marks the starting point of our trek. Upon arrival in Baide, we are greeted by the serene ambiance of this small village, where we’ll rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.
Day 2: Baide to Anande Kharka

On the second day, we embark on a trek from Baide to Anande Kharka. The journey traverses through lush forests and terraced fields and provides a visual treat of the region’s natural beauty. Here, we can enjoy the tranquility of the high-altitude pastures and immerse ourselves in the spectacular mountain views. The evening offers a chance to relax and savor the simplicity of rural life.

Day 3: Anande Kharka to Sukey Deurali

Our trek continues from Anande Kharka to Sukey Deurali. This is a location renowned for its panoramic vistas and serene environment. Sukey Deurali, perched at a higher elevation, provides a perfect vantage point to witness the grandeur of the surrounding peaks. The cool, crisp air and breathtaking views make this an ideal spot for reflection and rejuvenation.

Day 4: Exploring Panchpokhari and Sabhapokhari

On the final day, we explore the enchanting Panchpokhari and Sabhapokhari. Panchpokhari, meaning "five lakes," is a sacred site comprising five pristine ponds nestled within a stunning alpine setting.

Sabhapokhari, another nearby lake, complements the beauty of Panchpokhari with its own tranquil charm. We spend the day wandering around these serene bodies of water, taking in the mesmerizing landscapes and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
