A composition of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj revealing the sentiments of a Gopi in separation to Beloved Shyamsundar. Brief meaning below:
aba rahi na kahoo kaam ki
(I have become completely useless as for as the world is concerned)
jaba te lakhi sakhi! manamohana, manamohini chhavi shyaam ki
(Ever since I saw the enchanting form of Shyamsundar...)
taba te bhaee shyam ki, vanei, mola lai binu daam ki
(I have become His willing slave)
aba to ina nainana mana mahan ika, surati basi sukhadhaam ki
(Now, it is just that Abode of Bliss that resides in my eyes and mind)
loka veda ki gaila chalun kata, hwei gai haun binu paam ki
(How can I follow the path of the Vedas when I am left without the use of my feet? (The feet are controlled by the mind/intellect, which are now controlled by Shyamsundar))
dharu 'kripalu' aba dheer sakhi! kou, gati na jaan vidhi vaam ki
(Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj says, "O Sakhi! Remain resolute and patient. Who can comprehend the apparently adverse ways of fate?")
