Epicurus, the ancient Greek philosopher, believed that death should not be feared because it is not something that can be experienced. He argued that when we are alive, death is not present, and when we die, we no longer exist to experience it. Therefore, we should not waste our time fearing something that cannot be experienced. Instead, we should focus on living a happy and fulfilling life in the present moment. The Roman philosopher Lucretius agrees, and he defends Epicurus.
