The Martin 012-28 Modern Deluxe - NEW for 2022! The Martin 012-28 Modern Deluxe is here! Martin has added 7 new models to their Modern Deluxe series, and we have each and every one on order. Please contact us today if you'd like more information on the 012-28 or ANY of the great Modern Deluxe models. The 012-28 Modern deluxe features a VTS Sitka spruce top. VTS stands for Vintage Tone System, or Martin's proprietary method of torrefaction - where the wood is heated in a low oxygen environment, and the molecular structure of the wood is changed at the cellular level. The result is a soundboard that reacts & sounds like it's 60-80 years old! The 012-28 Modern Deluxe also features liquid metal bridge pins, gold Evo fret wire, gold tuners & beautiful maple binding.
