Ben was right, the tax code does its very best to ensure that Revenue are collecting tax bills wherever possible. However, just like how there are rules which say that you have to pay taxes, there's also rules which say that you don't have to pay taxes or have to pay less taxes in certain scenarios.

Unfortunately, Revenue aren't going to openly contact you and tell you how to minimize your tax bill. In this video, I discuss three ways that you can avoid tax legally in Ireland.
