Just in, another addition to my Chanel fragrance collection!! Bois des Iles, a fragrance that is part of Chanel's Les Exclusifs line, is a beautiful sandalwood fragrance with a surprising complexity behind its simplistic facade. Bois des Isles opens up powder, slightly musky and fresh. Minutes later, when the stunning, creamy, sandalwood note begins to emerge this fragrance brings me back to vintage Samsara. The sandalwood in Chanel's Bois des Iles is creamy, spiced, and so perfectly complimented by the ylang ylang and tonka bean notes in here for a wonderful olfactory experience. A sophisticated fragrance that is signature scent worthy in my opinion.
