Hadoop All In One Installations
Pre-requisites:
Software:
OOPs Concepts preferably with Core Java (knowledge of Java is strongly recommended)
Linux usage and File System operations
Shell Scripting
Hardware:
Laptop or Desktop with at least
HDD - 20+ GB free space
RAM - 4+ GB
CPU - 2 dual core
OS - Windows/Linux/Mac OS
1. Using VMware Workstation 12.0
2. Download ubuntu-16.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso from http://releases.ubuntu.com/
3. Install Ubuntu on VMware
HADOOP PRE-REQUISITES INSTALLATIONS:
1. sudo apt-get update
2. java:
-------
sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk
3. ssh:
-------
sudo apt-get install ssh
4. eclipse:
----------
sudo apt-get install eclipse
5. mysql:
---------
sudo apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client
