Niyantran (Control) Set Liner Hanger Animation - No Risk of Premature Setting

𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐈𝐋 𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐒 𝗡𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 technology is designed to wash and ream a liner to bottom without fear of hydraulically setting the liner hanger prematurely. This is accomplished by adding a second hydraulic cylinder attached to the upper cylinder and position, so that it maintains the Hanger in balance until the upper hydraulic cylinder is isolated by dropping a ball.

In this animation we present detail use of 𝐍𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧 (𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥) 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. A hydraulic cylinder balances out the setting forces, allowing circulation at high rates without prematurely actuating the hanger slips. Hydraulic activation of the system occurs when landing a ball on Yieldable ball seat within the running tool assembly while applying pressure.
