Jaguar S-Type - Jon Coupland Cars '12 Days Of Christmas Countdown' - Day 10

With just 10 days to go until the 'big day' were still doing our 'alternative' take on the 12 Days Of Christmas. Each day, right up until Christmas day I will be counting down 12 cars that have come and gone from the Jon Coupland collection, discussing their history, the work we did on them and their future. Some I regret letting go. Others. Well. We are glad they have found new homes.

Day 10 sees THIS, a 2001 3.0L V6 Jaguar S-Type which I saw for sale on Car And Classic. 98,000 miles from new and £800 it was an itch I had to scratch. I realised quite quickly that running costs were astronomical and so quickly sold the car for £1200 to a man who was familiar with these cars - sadly the car was hammered for 3000 miles and has been off the road since August 2023 - hopefully its awaiting a revival and hasn't been squashed ... i am optimistinc.
