UPDATE: This video was briefly copyright claimed then released by a writer named Izento (link to their social media below) for its strong resemblance to an article written here.

After looking up who Riot Lyte was when originally prompted by a comment request, I began compiling everything I could about him, and its quite clear to me now that while I never intended to create derivative work, effectively the same story was covered far better (and earlier) by Izento... and the level of similarity is quite sizeable.
I have no doubt that his work was one of the many articles I read while making this video, and should be linked here now. Clearly the inspiration of that work during the process of reading, watching, and writing down everything I could find with regards to Riot Lyte had an impact on the end product.
Todays video is about the origins of a cultural term in both video games, and the wider tech industry. "Toxic Behavior" is an all encompassing evil that corporations and social media platforms do battle with daily.
My question... is where did this term come from. Who pioneered and popularized that phrase, how did they do it, and what other impact have they had. From Shadowbanning to psychological experiments... Riot Games and Jeffrey Lin are the answer to that question.
