Flurrie is definitely really good here, can hit both stances, has 2nd-highest HP stat of all partners so she can tank one ultra Mush attack. Lip Lock is arguably the best partner move in the game non-cheese edition, and extra Dodginess is appreciated here.
Sure seems that the game said you better superguard by some point bub, or it's ovah! Did they see the Master fight mods from N64, lmao?
Final badge layout - Quick Change (not used but nice to have in a contingency), Power Plus, Power Plus P x2, Flower Saver for everyone, Happy Flower, Close Call x2, Charge for all (good on wait turns / Mario's ump is often useless here with 6 def), Piercing Blow (essential)
