50002 Superb had the honour of being the first class 50 to be started up whilst in preservation and also became the first class 50 to move under her own power in preservation.
She is seen at Paignton being fired up for the first time amidst a cloud of exhaust fumes on the 21st February 1992.
Later the same day she was allowed to stretch her legs and can be seen on Goodrington bank and near Broadsands.
