Million Dollar Highway - The Complete Colorado Scenic Drive 8K Durango to Silverton and Ouray

In this video we make the complete scenic drive northbound on the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway and Million Dollar Highway (U.S. Route 550) from Durango, Colorado to Silverton and Ouray in southwest Colorado. This drive features snowy alpine mountains, towering red mountains, deep canyons and outstanding green forests as we make our way along its multiple San Juan mountain passes where the road exceeds 10,000 feet in elevation. The Uncompahgre Gorge section is a stunning highlight on this drive where Million Dollar Highway hugs the edge of a cliff with a drop of hundreds of feet straight down. We finish this drive up in the town of Montrose, Colorado.

This drive was filmed in early June, and was filmed and uploaded in 8K. The video is playing at normal speed and the speed can be adjusted to go faster or slower in the video settings.
