Franklin Park Mall - Toledo, Ohio

Welcome to the Franklin Park Mall located In Toledo, OH. The mall opened up in 1971 with JCPenney, Hudson and Lamson Brothers as anchors. In 1974 Lamson Brothers closed and was replaced with Jacobson. In 1993 a new wing was added to the mall and it was anchored by the Lion Store, in 1998 the Lion Store was rebranded into Dillard’s. In 2001 the Hudson’s store was rebranded into Marshal Field’s. In 2002 the mall was renamed to Westfield Shoppingtown Franklin, also in 2002 Jacobson’s closed. In 2004 Jacobson’s was demolished and was replaced with a new wing of the mall. In 2005 National Amusements and Dick’s Sporting Goods was added to the mall, along with a brand new food court and Borders Book Store. In 2006 the Marshal Fields was rebranded into Macy’s. In 2013 the mall was sold to Starwood Capital Group and was converted back to Franklin Park Mall. Lets go inside and take a look.
