We bought a set of early American Drum Company (Walter Light) timpani and have plans to document the process of overhauling them! This will include everything from caster replacement, hoop replacement or modification, all the way up to paint and head installation.
In this episode, you'll see how to remove timpani bowl dents! Learn the process of using a sandbag to re-form the copper bowl's shape and check out the special tool made just for this task.
