DLC vs Third Versions! Which is BETTER for Pokemon?

Either way, we are comparing if we need more games like Pokemon Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, or Ultra Sun and Moon or if we need to get more experiences like The Isle of Armor, The Crown Tundra, The Teal Mask, or The Indigo Disk. Ever since Pokemon sword and Shield, Game Freak has made it clear that they want to do DLC instead of making those third versions. We are going to answer if it is actually better
