Terävä Skrama Bush Knife - A Chopping Beast That Carves

Finally got out to film some field use testing of the Terävä Skrama Bush Knife from Varusteleka.com. I know some of you out there were really interested in this knife and wanted to see it so I hope this video helps you decide if this is a knife you would like to own.

What a versatile big bladed knife this is. I said it in the video and meant it, this knife is a BEAST. I used it on and off for six hours prior to filming this and it performed very well chopping down small trees and trimming branches. It is very well balanced for it's size (which I wish I'd shown in the video) and the design of the handle allows for multiple hand holds. Choke up to do those finer detail wood carving tasks. Choke back on it to unleash the Beast and do some heavy action chopping. The dual edge grinds are a smart and effective design and as shown, both perform great.

IMO, If you pair this knife with a Jääkäripuukko 110 (or 140), they'd be a companion set that could compete with any other combination out there. These Terävä knives from Varusteleka.com are a big hit in my book and I will continue to use and abuse these knives for many years to come.
