Bird #27 & 28 to the Hand - Northern Cardinal & Rock Dove [Central Park NYC]

I stopped in at Central Park in NYC on the way home from my performances in NJ to look for a Cardinal that was reported to have been feeding from the hand. I found it in the early morning of October 25th 2023 after walking around for about an hour. Later, I decided to feed some NYC Pigeons by hand. Once Pigeons come to trust you, they can become quite assertive. I find they have a gentleness to them despite their assertiveness. A few people were staring at me from off to the right because at one point I had 2 pigeons in the hand, a couple others eating from it off to the side, and one sitting on my knee.

As October 25th 2023, my previous record of 26 species of bird to the hand was increased to 28.
