Air Guns Detuned For Canadian Market The Good or Bad Way

We will talk about how airguns are regulated in Canada, and how some air guns are detuned to sub 500 fps for normal people to purchase and own without a PAL license. There are some GOOD detuned guns and some BAD detuned guns. Personally I would say that if the box say that the gun is "495fps" it should be at least giving you something CLOSE to that power with a normal pellet. Our limit is 500fps AND 5.7 joules or 4.2 fpe. If the gun fires around 480-500fps with a normal pellet, that's what I call a nice detune job.
