As we follow up on the draft, we continue to book matches that may not draw ratings, but will make the most of the SmackDown brand in story wise. After reviewing the previous shows ratings, this episode is a step up in the right direction, RAW is currently owning the ratings, but as I stated and demonstrated in the video, "I get knocked down but I get up again, you're never gonna keep me down" all thanks to the inspirational lyrics of Chumbawamba - Tubthumping.
We also showcase a main event superstar in the ranks and is now known as the "New Face of Fear" we bring you his first official match on #SmackDown and what a match it is, going one on one with the "Face of SmackDown" and World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.
JBL also gets put into a match but did not expect it to be "The Deadman" The Undertaker, in what could perhaps be the most shocking moment in SmackDown episodes.

A HOT! feud is building up between the Cruiserweight Champion; Shawn Michaels and one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions; Randy Orton. After their clash on episode 1 of SmackDown! their paths has crossed each other more than once.

General Manager mode, which could be compared to the Extreme Warfare games and Final Fire Pro Wrestling's Management of the Ring mode, is included for the first time. In this mode, the player takes the role of General Manager for either the SmackDown! or Raw brand. Players begin by picking one of the two brands, followed by a choice of simulating or participating in a draft, where a player can pick a total of 20 Superstars. The player then allocates the championships before beginning the season. This mode goes into depth, with e-mail capabilities, the ability to book matches and statistics of how the fans reacted to the show, among other features. When WrestleMania rolls around, the General Manager of the Year is awarded, along with some unlockable features.
