The first days of 2021 seemed to have a little more hope as vaccines started rolling out in the United States and worldwide. Then, what we saw on the news made all our guts wrench. Just when we think we've seen it all, something else despicable happens. This time, at the "citadel of liberty" in Washington D.C. In these moments, we can feel hopeless and scared. However, in these moments, we have to remember that love is a choice, that brotherhood is a state of living, and that peace starts in our own hearts. We can be the difference in the world, our world, by just starting out the day with a new mindset. A new heart. This song is a beautiful reminder of that, and it is the basis of my hope for this year. 2021.
