Do pagans believe in a creating force, power or a creator entity? To answer this question I'll explore a couple of different cases, such as the conception of gods and the case of greater and lesser spirits in animism, the importance of trickster spirits, ancestors of place, monotheistic religious influences upon the Eastern European and Central and East Asian nomadic tribes and societies, the importance of cultural syncretism and syncretic faiths, colonial influences on indigenous peoples, neo-paganisms such as Wicca and Heathenry and the idea of duotheism, polytheism and paganism.
