Alexandre "Xande" Ribeiro is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, submission wrestler, and mixed martial artist. He was born on January 20, 1981, in Manaus, Brazil.

A highly decorated competitor, he has won multiple world championships. His achievements include:

Two-time World Black Belt Absolute (open weight) World Jiu-Jitsu Champion

Five-time World Black Belt Heavy Weight Champion

Two-time ADCC World Champion

Three-time World Black Belt Pro Division Champion

Inducted into the ADCC Hall of Fame in 2024

Ribeiro began training at age 10 under the Monteiro brothers. He later moved to the U.S. and, along with his brother Saulo Ribeiro, founded the University of Jiu-Jitsu in San Diego, California. In 2020, he started his own team, Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu. He holds a 6th-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a black belt in judo
