Pep Guardiola on challenges facing Bayern in Champions League quarter-finals

Pep Guardiola believes that Bayern Munich will look to play an expansive game ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola, who managed the Bundesliga champions between 2013-16, believes that Bayern will not simply sit back and defend as it is not in the club’s DNA.
Man City head into the tie as slight favourites to qualify, though a return leg at the Allianz Arena will be no easy feat for the Premier League champions.
Bayern, who have won the Bundesliga for the last ten seasons in a row, currently sit top of the pile in Germany. They lead Borussia Dortmund by two points.
City are second in the Premier League table, six points behind Arsenal with one game in hand over their title rivals.
