The defense lawyers in the murder trial of businessman Henry Katanga are questioning why the bullet that passed through his head contained more DNA from the accused, Molly Katanga. These concerns were raised during the cross-examination of Andrew Mubiru, the head of the Forensic Science Directorate of the Uganda Police, at the High Court in Kampala. In response, Mubiru stated that he was not present when the bullet was fired or where it landed after killing Katanga. As Sudhir Byaruhanga reports, the lawyers representing Molly Katanga and four others seek to introduce a DNA report as evidence, which they claim is missing a sample.
