Ep. 283: Florida's Nature Coast | RV travel camping kayaking Rainbow Springs Cedar Key

In this week's Grand Adventure we visit the Nature Coast of Florida, north of Tampa up towards the Big Bend. We'll kayak with friends along the beautiful spring-fed, crystal-clear Rainbow River from K.P. Hole Park up to the headsprings in Rainbow Springs State Park, before turning downstream to the Withlacoochee River -- encountering cormorants, herons, turtles, river otters and even an alligator along the way! We'll also explore the unique history of the remote Cedar Key right on the Gulf of Mexico, and then kayak some more, this time from Cedar Key out to the rare Florida ghost town on Atsena Otie Key in the Gulf. All of this takes place from our RV campsite at Goethe Trailhead Ranch RV Campground northwest of Dunnellon.
