Lianne La Havas' Live Vocal Range (B2 - F♯5 - B♭5)

Now, this is a video that I've been working on for awhile, and I think it's time to publish it.

I've been a fan of Lianne for quite sometimes now. But with the recent release of her self-titled album, I've gained a new level of admiration for her and her artistry. It's one of my favorite releases in 2020. Because of that, I want to make this video to dedicate my appreciation for her talent.

She's quite a vocalist. She's a very distinctive mezzo-soprano, with beautiful, warm, buttery tone. Her lower range is what shines most in her voice. She can access this register effortlessly and has great projection down there. She really takes advantage in this range and makes it the highlight aspect of her singing. Her upper mixed range is quite impressive, for a low-placed voice like hers. The quality is pretty consistent, and she can add some nice rasp into it. However there're definitely off moments where her belts get pretty hoarse in her top ends. Her head voice, while has very nice moments, I think she can utilize it more often.

Overall, I think she's a great vocalist, and she's very versatile with her voice. But along side with her vocal talent, her song-writing and instrument skills make her a really well-rounded artist in our generation. And I think she's someone you guys should really check out if you haven't already.
