Not going to sugar coat it. Today was not a good day. Coming off a true rest day in Ponferrada where I wasn’t running around sightseeing, my mind and body had a hard time getting back on the road. Spending most of the day on pavement didn’t help either. Thankfully, a sojourn back into wine country and the beauty of the vineyards calmed my soul…as did a touching dinner with two Camino friends I’ll likely not encounter again. One week till Santiago.
