I’m beyond excited to share the second single and video from my new project, HIGH KINGS RISING! After the amazing response to our debut single “Ride Like Lightning (Crash Like Thunder)” last month, I couldn’t wait to release this next track with you all.
The new song, titled “Rain Must Fall,” features the incredible Johnny Gioeli once again on vocals. It’s a driving rocker packed with soaring melodies and the unmistakable Classic Heavy Rock vibes that define this project. Those timeless ‘70s and ‘80s influences are still at the heart of it all, and this track really cranks it up.
Lyrically, “Rain Must Fall” hits a powerful note—it's about breaking free from a toxic, abusive relationship and rediscovering your strength and faith in yourself. It’s about hitting rock bottom, but finding the courage to move forward, even when it’s scary. Sometimes you have to face the storm, let the rain fall, and then lift your head high to find the clear skies waiting ahead. It’s a journey of renewal, and I think it’s something many of us can connect with. I hope this song inspires you as much as it did me while creating it, it's one of my favorites!
