►► This documentary describes the life of pioneer of Ottoman Empire Ertugrul Gazi who was the father of Osman I (Osman Gazi- the founder of ottoman empire). He was the son of Suleyman Shah, leader of the Kayı tribe of Oghuz Turks, who fled from eastern Iran to Anatolia to escape the Mongol conquests. According to this legend, Ertuğrul and his followers entered the service of the Seljuks of Rum, for which he was rewarded with dominion over the town of Söğüt on the frontier with the Byzantine Empire. This set off the chain of events that would ultimately lead to the founding of the Ottoman Empire. Like his son, Osman, and their descendants, Ertuğrul is often referred to as a Ghazi, a heroic champion fighter for the cause of Islam. Also it describes the history of rise and fall of ottoman empire.
►►আরতুগ্রুল গাজি। একটি নাম। একটি ইতিহাস। মুসলিম উম্মাহর এক নব-উত্থানের গৌরবোজ্জ্বল সোনালী অধ্যায়ের সূচনা। আরতুগ্রুল (উসমানীয় তুর্কি: ارطغرل; ১১৯১/১১৯৮, আহলাত – ১২৮১, সাগুত) ছিলেন উসমানীয় সাম্রাজ্যের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা উসমানীয় সাম্রাজ্যের সুলতান প্রথম উসমানের পিতা। তিনি অঘুজ তুর্কিদের কায়ি গোত্রের নেতা ছিলেন। বাইজেন্টাইনদের বিরুদ্ধে রোমের সেলজুকদের সাহায্যার্থে অারতুগরুল মার্ভ থেকে আনাতোলিয়ায় আসেন। এ সময় তিনি বেশ কিছু ধারাবাহিক ঘটনার মাধ্যমে তিনি অটোম্যান সাম্রাজ্য সৃষ্টিতে নেতৃত্ব দেন যার উত্তরসূরিরা বীরদর্পে বিশ্বের রঙ্গমঞ্চে আবির্ভূত হয়ে সুদীর্ঘকালব্যাপী কালিমার ঝাণ্ডা উড়ায়। তার ছেলে প্রথম উসমানের মত তাকেও গাজি উপাধিতে সম্বোধন করা হয়, যা দ্বারা ইসলামের জন্য লড়াই করা বীর যোদ্ধাদের বোঝায়।
তুর্কি ধারাবাহিক "দিরিলিস: এরতুগরুল" এর কল্যাণে আমরা এ নামগুলোর সাথে পরিচিত হলেও অনেকেই ভালোভাবে জানিনা কে এই এরতুগ্রুল, অঘুজ তুর্কি কারা, প্রথম উসমান কে, উসমানীয় সাম্রাজ্যই বা কিভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিলো আর কিভাবে ও কেনইবা এর পতন ঘটেছিলো। তাই ইত্যাকার নানা বিষয় নিয়েই বিস্তারিত তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এই এপিসোডে। আশা করি ভিডিওটি আপনাদের ভালো লাগবে।
