Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH CVCHD) is the same entity referred as the Department of Health Regional Field Office for Central Visayas with Highly-Urbanized Cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, Negros Oriental and Siquijor as its catchment areas.

DOH CVCHD is responsible for the field operations of the Department of Health in Central Visayas and it is mandated to implement and monitor health and health-related laws, regulations, policies and programs; and to coordinate with regional offices of other departments, offices and national government agencies as well as local government units within the region.
