Putting the cobot welding multilayer software through its paces on an elliptical part. The root runs on the inside and outside of the part were manually programmed, and using a combination of seam tracking and a multilayer offset table, the subsequent 9 passes on the outside were calculated by the cobot without intervention. 5 minutes of teaching to create a program that can run 45 minutes of arc-on time and can be used over and over again on repeat parts even where there are minor differences or misalignments. This is where the productivity gains of cobot welding are readily apparent!
