Victor 20-2876-B
Chet Atkins and his Colorado Mountain Boys - I've been working on the guitar Recorded November 19, 1947 at Victor Studios Chicago by Chet Atkins, guitar, Jimmy Atkins, guitar, Joseph Biviano, accordion; Ben Lambert, violin, and Charles Grean, bass... Quite corny title for a spectacular track.
When I found this record, it might well have rested motionless more than 50 years inside the same record stack, and for whatsoever reason the color of its contemporary RCA Victor cover and also that of the neighboring Capitol cover decided to stage this beautiful photochemical dance on the record´s surface. This didn´t affect the sound quality of the recording in any way; as you can hear. Also on a closer look only the color is altered, just as if this was some kind of obscure photographic process. Interesting, isn´t it?
If you have any idea what this could be, please comment.
Enjoy!
