This winter in snowfall I prepared this beautiful dish Of Chicken kofte & Dry bottle gourd "alhachi" vegetables dried in summer season in Kashmir. This dish is so amazing and tempting do make a try ....
Ingredients I used to Make this Tasty dish..
chicken breast pieces approx 1 kg
250 grams of Dry bottle gourd
2 to 3 small onions ,few garlic pieces, ginger piece
1 egg
Mustard oil 2 to 3 spoons
Spices ...Black cardamoms 2 or 3 ,salt as per taste, 2 green cardamoms, 1 small cinnamon stick, few cloves and black pepper seeds, Fenugreek dry powder ,red chilli powder 1 spoon ,1 table spoon each of fennel powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder
water as required
Preparation ..
wash chicken breast and pound it well in a mortal with pestle to make fine paste ,add egg ,black cardamom seeds,salt and dry fenugreek powder ,pound well .Make balls and put it in turmeric water and boil till these become tender and soft keep aside ,boil dry bottle gourd in turmeric water to make these soft like noodles .Pour mustard oil in a cooker heat it and add onion garlic and ginger paste saute well and add chicken balls saute till light brown ,add boiled bottle gourd and saute well .Add spices and saute well ,add water and mix well .Close with a lid and steam it till it gives out 5 to 6 whistles .Check and serve hot with Rice
